Hi, CAL Families!

We are selling Valentine's Day Grams! Please support our school by allowing your student to purchase Valentine Grams for a classmate, school friend, or a teacher!

For only $2, send a special message of appreciation or friendship. Each gram will include a message from the student and a candy treat or toy!

Stop by the Main Office before or after school to get your Valentine's Grams! Buy as many as you wish!

The last day to buy Valentine Grams is February 8, 2023! Thank you for your support!

School will be closed Monday, January 16, 2023 for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day!

Classes will resume Tuesday, January 17, 2023.

Please support our school's Popcornopolis fundraiser! Students may win prizes, based on how much they sell!

The fundraiser dates are: 11/4/22 through 11/28/22.

Good morning, CAL Families! For our Thanksgiving Fund Drive, we're asking the CAL community to help us donate to those families in need.

This year, CAL would like to provide a Grocery Store gift card to some of our families.

Please consider making a small cash donation to help another family enjoy a Happy, Healthy Holiday Season!

Dates for Donation: October 24 - November 10

We are using this opportunity to teach our students about charity! CAL will purchase the gift cards, and deliver them to the chosen families.

We will be participating in National Red Ribbon Week, starting on Monday, October 24th. Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco, and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed annually in October. The focus is to educate students on the dangers of drugs and to encourage them to focus on their education. The theme for the week will be “Celebrate Life. Live Drug Free!”. Students will be able to participate in activities and drug-free themed days for the entire week. Please click for more information.

We encourage you to make a difference in the governance of our school by participating in this year’s School Site Council (SSC) and English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC). Orientation Meetings will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2022. Please click for more information!

In an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19, CAL is offering a free Covid-19 testing program for students and staff at our school. Testing is free and will occur weekly. We would like for you parents to bring your child either Monday, August 8th (9AM-12PM) or Tuesday, August 9th (12PM-3PM) to test with our covid company so we can receive results for their return to school.
