On October 19th on October 21st we have the great California ShakeOut this is a Statewide participation where School organizations company all over the state of California all participate in this big emergency earthquake drill to prepare us for any a disaster. comes from an earthquake so we will be participating with that here at cow as we've done year after year it before we are having that big emergency response drill on October 21st I will be participating in that just come home and say that we had a big thing happened in the big drill just know that that was planned and we're doing it to really prepare our kids and our staff for in the event that an emergency happens so we'll be doing a big hammer Seadrill starting on next Thursday of the 21st following that is fall makeup picture day so if your students were not able to be here on the day of picture day that we had in September this is the maker picture day so please make sure your student is here if they were not here for the first picture day okay and you should receive information if your child eats the makeup school picture following on the Monday following we start our Thanksgiving Drive which is something that we do all the time at Cal we want to make sure that we have we provide opportunities for families and to have a good Thanksgiving holiday and a Thanksgiving dinner so we're doing the drive to collect goods and food items I forgot to look for information in the towel Explorer Friday for information regarding the Thanksgiving food drive also that same week we are doing Red Ribbon Week so all of this information again will be coming out in the towel Explorer if you can see how your students can participate in Red Ribbon Week I'm in all of the fun formative educational opportunities. What happened that week as well we also have our October School site council meeting that Monday evening I'm at 5 p.m. parents who are part of School site Council our next October meeting I'm all parents are welcome to join the meeting and and and be a part of the meeting if so if any parent wants to come to the SSE meeting we will communicate the zoom information as well and we have Big Smiles Dental visit which I know Miss Medrano can tell you a little bit more about but we also have information that has either already gone home or will be coming home soon in regards to that is on October 28th we have an anti-bullying and prevention night so it's one of our big  cool family nice to educate our students and families on what we can do to make sure that we are princess an anti-bullying you have a no bullying policy here at cow and we want to make sure that we're teaching our students and families skills to make sure that we are encouraging and I believe Ashley our next coffee with the principal will be November 10th November 10th will be the November coffee with the principal dates all of these dates and all of this information will be added in the college score ever Friday with further information and details as well okay and don't set that alarm was mucho por venir mucho Arceus therapy until 11. so please check your child's backpack most of our teachers they put it in the students homework folder information but make sure you're checking it out for information from the teacher or Cal Explorer pick up your child little early in the afternoon then take them out for the full day or miss the morning so if you can do your best to do that and and we prefer not to have no early release after 2:30
