Support students with some of the highest needs on our campus Continental Ave in Bonita and next you will see our wonderful kindergarten team most of you are most likely kindergarten parents so this is our team our teachers Miss her teen and his basket and our Kinder classrooms have dedicated in National AIDs that support the classroom so there are two adults in each kindergarten classroom so miss Mixon and Miss Martinez are our wonderful instructional AIDS Yankees tambien do I like you our first grade team is Miss Melody and Miss Clarke as well as we have dedicated TK's in our first grade classrooms Miss Ramos we know that there are two pictures missing but you'll have the opportunity to see them on Saturday at our meet and greet deactivate the same group even what time is Ramos Amazon music next we have our second grade team we have a dedicated PA on that support our second grade teachers as well animal tell if you are a second parent one great thing to know is our second grade team have been at our school almost I believe since the school was found it and they both together have 30 plus years of teaching experience so there experience amazing team unfortunately next Muhammad we don't have any new students coming I'm going to look at that and we have our third fourth and fifth grade teams here who would who are doing an amazing job with our upper grade students Chucky the first and foremost LOL dolls at their store and here is our main office staff one of them who is here with us today or loveliness Donna was our office manager Miss Bailey who is our student parent and Community liaison and program coordinator and Miss Talia Dodson who is our testing coordinator Yankee, Quando our business office staff to support our school and make sure it's our lunch program is happening and all of the back in business is our business office. I'm at the Anamosa State Nike Pocatello and we have rest of our support staff our campus security cow has a a campus that is secure during school hours and after school hours as well as we have our our lovely lunch today to support our lunch program I mean I can come up on base and security system manual La Comida so next we're going to talk about some important documents that you will receive in the next in the upcoming week 2 prepare you for the first day of school Earth is our school calendar these year and if you have not already received that you will receive that soon it will also be posted on our website so you can have the instructional calendar for the year astellas mr. calendario del ano next is our bell schedule so instructional schedule we start school at 8 a.m. however we open up our campus to students at 7:30 a.m. and dismissal is at 3 p.m. Monday Thursday okay ESO essence calendario and just to give you an idea of what a day looks like for your child the students line up at 7 50 am to go into class on Mondays we generally have in morning assembly to welcome kids in for the week they have an instructional black in the morning prayer to recess students then have morning recess where they give to come outside get some AirPlay and then they have a second instructional block after the second instructional block students have lunch and then lunch recess where they also have another opportunity to play and then after lunch recess there is a third instructional block which is where many of our students get enrichment during that blasted black and physical education and then there's a closing afternoon meeting with with teachers students have dismissal Maleficent La manana eBay Dallas Police Department and one thing that's important to note if you are Kinder and first grade parent is that our students have recess separately based on their their grade level and their email so are Tenders in our first graders have recess together they are except they do not have recess at the same time as our second to fifth graders their lunch and recess is separated in all of our classes have separate area on the yard where they play you know my Spotify Friday's on for us at center for advanced learning is our early release day so students are dismissed at 12:45 p.m. that is where our teachers in our staff Harbor staff development in the afternoon however as Mr Lopez will explain to you later we do have after-school program on Fridays as well no school tomorrow Venus the hottest planet and a little bit about her after-school program schedule so every day we do have after-school program we had it continued during a distance and we're happy that we will have it back on campus in person when we resume for in-person instruction on August 16th after school program starts immediately after dismissal at 3 p.m. on Monday through Thursday time to 6 p.m. and on Friday starts I believe at 1 p.m. after dismissal till 6 p.m. on Fridays as well okay ESA Lotto winners in Persona and if correct me if I'm wrong mr. additional updates so you will get the updated I'm handbook all right well instructional program we are very proud to say that our our instructional program is very thorough and we also are proud to say that we have provided our students with access during distance learning last year and we are also doing the same thing with with in-person instruction I'm just going to go over briefly what our instructional program Intel and first hour we have an interdisciplinary and active learning what that means is we provide enrichment we also provide physical education and an art art integrated program which we are excited to see happen this year we also provide our students with Phil trips each grade level get to our field trips per year also we've focused on standards-based instruction especially for our students that are we know that the California state Sanders are mandatory and we want to ensure that our students are have access to an entire instructional program that standard base we have we're excited about physical education our students are fifth graders they take a physical fitness test at the end of the year and we want them ensure that we are preparing them for that we also provide cultural celebrations such as Multicultural Festival in the beginning of the year on mid-year and then we have another one in February which is our Black History Month celebration so we want to provide make sure that we are incorporating All Ark pictures in our families in to those celebrations in September we are September or September now we have we do a lot of activities and celebrations for Hispanic Heritage Month in September and I sober and I we do Red Ribbon Week in October we have Black History Month celebrations in February so we we like to celebrate the diversity of our cultures on our couch and we do ask my parents to vote Sierra do you know to help us out because this these celebrations are definitely Grand you know we want to definitely put forth the effort so we definitely would need your help with assistance so please available also we provide intervention and enrichment our Intervention Program is going to start early in September October and we go of our instructional program that we want to highlight and one is our technology integration from we have integrated our technology within our instructional program we provide Chromebook for every student one of our assessment tools or programs that we use as Renaissance Learning our students are familiar with the accelerated reading program also Freckle which is a is a adaptive program that focuses on and skills based on their star sassman so we assess students and then we provide them with practice to help them grow and progress along throughout the year and we also on our teachers are very familiar and they used a program called BrainPOP which is another instructional program that our students enjoy Also I would we are very big on using ClassDojo ClassDojo is a communication tool that we will just like the one called messages that you received to come here today to be present today we also send Class Dojo messages teachers respond text messaging through the class dojo messages and we also send school I post so please keep your eye on that if you haven't connected or use ClassDojo that is one of our biggest communication tool that we use here at cow I also other programs that we use is flipgrid Google Classroom kahoot nearpod and we provide a digital curriculum for all students so we're not only do we have the print material classroom but we also provide digital afternoon parents how are you happy Tuesday I am Maria Lopez I am to be the manager of the program so our program schedule is for Monday through Friday Monday to Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. and then be welcome and yes every single time but for you to be part of the program of your child to be part of the program you do need an ark and go through the program is free so sweet to all students at
