Estimadas familias de CAL,
¡Esperamos que haya tenido unas vacaciones de Acción de Gracias maravillosas y seguras!
Como recordatorio, esta semana son nuestras conferencias virtuales de padres y maestros
del primer trimestre. Asegúrese de asistir a la cita programada con el maestro de su hijo
para obtener más información sobre el progreso actual de su hijo. Las boletas de
calificaciones del primer trimestre se le enviaron por correo el 20 de noviembre.
¡Hemos estado trabajando muy duro este año y esta semana estaremos tomando nuestras
evaluaciones comparativas! Aquí hay algunas sugerencias de cosas que puede hacer para
ayudar a su hijo a prepararse:
● DORMIR
Asegúrese de que su hijo duerma bien por la noche. Esto les ayudará a estar alerto y
mejor concentrados.
● DESAYUNO
Asegúrese de que su hijo coma un desayuno saludable antes de iniciar la sesión en su
clase de Zoom.
● ÁNIMO
¡Anime a su hijo a hacer lo mejor que pueda! No ayude a su hijo a realizar la evaluación
comparativa ni le proporcione respuestas. Es importante que su hijo haga su propio
trabajo para ayudarnos a monitorear mejor su progreso actual.
● INSTRUCCIONES
Estamos muy orgullosos de lo que los Exploradores de CAL han estado aprendiendo y
logrando hasta ahora este año. Pídale a su hijo que siga las instrucciones de su maestro
para realizar las evaluaciones comparativas. Si tiene alguna pregunta o algún problema
técnico, asegúrese de comunicarse con el maestro de su hijo.

Dear CAL Families,
We hope that you had a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday Break!
As a reminder, this week is our virtual Trimester 1 Parent-Teacher Conferences. Be sure to
attend your scheduled appointment with your child’s teacher to learn more about your child’s
current progress. Trimester 1 Report Cards were mailed home to you on November 20
th
.
We have been working really hard this year and we will be taking our Benchmark Assessments
this week! Here are some suggestions of things you can do to help your child prepare:
● SLEEP
Make sure your child gets a good night’s sleep. This will help them to be alert and better
focused.
● BREAKFAST
Please make sure your child eats a healthy breakfast before logging into their Zoom
class.
● ENCOURAGEMENT
Please encourage your child to do their best! Do not assist your child with taking their
Benchmark Assessment or provide them with answers. It is important that your child
does their own work to help us best monitor their current progress.
● INSTRUCTIONS
We are very proud of what CAL Explorers have been learning and accomplishing so far
this year. Please have your child to follow their teacher’s instructions for taking their
Benchmark Assessments. If you have any questions or have any tech issues, be sure to
contact your child’s teacher.
